Villa The View

Set on a hillside, Villa The View takes in Gustavia harbour and the neighbouring bays, where yachts come and go in high season. Built in colonial style over two levels and several pavilions, it was designed entirely around this panorama. Beneath tall whitewashed ceilings, the contemporary living room sits on one side of a covered passage; on the other, the large kitchen gathers around an island, next to a table for eight facing the horizon. Outside, the heated pool is surrounded by loungers, a covered lounge and a dining table, among palms and bougainvillea. The four air-conditioned bedrooms each have a king-size bed and bathroom; two frame the terrace, one sits on the lower level, and the last, in a separate bungalow, has its own terrace with a heated jacuzzi. A fitness room completes a house made for complete escape.
