Villa Mango

In a private estate in Colombier, clinging to the hillside, the colonial-style Villa Mango takes in the harbour of Gustavia and its bay. It spreads over three levels and two pavilions, with a light, colourful décor. The living room extends into a dining room with carved dark-wood chairs and vibrant paintings; the kitchen opens straight onto the terrace and its outdoor table. At the very bottom of the garden, a terrace gathers three pools, including the heated swimming pool and a Jacuzzi, in shades of blue, with a scalloped gazebo for reading. The three air-conditioned bedrooms, with four-poster beds in fine wood and en-suite bathrooms, sleep six: two on the middle level, the third in a garden pavilion near the pool. An intimate, colourful house, its gaze always turned towards the harbour of Gustavia.
