Villa Lina

In Colombier, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, Villa Lina takes in the ocean and the hills. Designed on a single level by architect Johannes Zingerle to make the most of the view over the turquoise waters, it pairs contemporary style with the codes of a colonial house, in a light, soothing palette; at the entrance, a green arbour borders a small pond ringed with exotic plants. The fully open-plan living space gathers sofas and banquettes facing the panorama, a large rectangular table and a modern kitchen opening onto the pool and the ocean. Outside, the heated 10-by-4-metre pool stretches across a teak terrace, with loungers, floor cushions, an outdoor shower and a covered lounge beneath tall palms. The air-conditioned bedrooms, with bathrooms, sleep six; those framing the living room offer king-size beds, dressing rooms and pool views. Close to Gustavia, Saint-Jean and Flamands beach, a home where pets are welcome.
