Villa Taniko

Within a private estate in Colombier, Villa Taniko, built in traditional style, has been recently renovated with a light, modern décor. Its living room, furnished with sofas and armchairs, opens through a large bay window onto the terrace, the ocean and the islets of Pain de Sucre and Gros Îlets. Beneath a high vaulted ceiling, between arched doors and windows framing the greenery, the very modern kitchen plays on the contrast of white and glossy black. Outside, the shell-shaped pool faces the ocean; on the deck, loungers, a lounge and a hammock alternate with areas shaded by parasols and drapes, and a teak table seats six. The three air-conditioned bedrooms, with king- or queen-size beds, large wardrobes and shimmering fabrics, open onto the view or the tropical greenery and share two bathrooms, for six guests. A bright house, lulled by the trade winds, for family or friends.
