Villa Jade

On the heights of Marigot, Villa Jade overlooks the entire bay, taking in the ocean and the surrounding hills. A tribute to Asia, it welcomes you with a small wooden bridge over a water-lily pond where koi carp glide, then a spectacular round glass door. The air-conditioned living room, in a pared-back Balinese style, displays many authentic artworks beneath a lofty timber-framed ceiling from which black fringed pendant lamps descend; at the back are a professional kitchen and a long bar. On the covered terrace, a large wooden table faces the panorama, and the heated pool seems to flow into the ocean, surrounded by loungers, outdoor lounges and a double bed beneath the ajoupa. The eight bedrooms, for sixteen guests, each decorated to measure, are shared between the main house and separate pavilions. A cinema room, gym, hammam, jacuzzi and wine cellar complete a property of rare character.
