Villa Bayugita

On Pointe Milou, tucked into tropical greenery, Villa Bayugita looks out over the ocean, the bay of Lorient and the sunsets. Built over two levels in colonial style, it is decorated with Asian and Balinese influences: the living room, open to the terrace, gathers wood-and-fabric sofas and armchairs in warm colours on a teak floor, along with Indonesian-style furniture. The dining area for six, with its green chairs, echoes the fully equipped kitchen and its granite counters; an outdoor alcove houses the barbecue. Extending from the living room, the infinity pool slips half beneath the covered terrace, surrounded by sun loungers on the decking, in a setting of stone and abundant vegetation. The three air-conditioned bedrooms, with king-size beds, several of them four-posters, and en-suite bathrooms, sleep six; two on the main level each have an outdoor shower, while the third has a private terrace. The restaurants of a neighbouring hotel are a few minutes away.
