Villa Arawak

In Pointe Milou, Villa Arawak faces the bay of Lorient, the ocean and the surrounding islands, a setting that blazes with colour as day draws to a close. The living room beneath its sloping ceiling, with two sofas and a glass coffee table, extends into an infinity pool that seems to reach the ocean. Behind it, a large black table for eight opens to the outdoors on both sides, next to a contemporary kitchen in metal and wood; a gas barbecue awaits grilling. On the terrace, loungers and sofas shelter beneath a pergola that casts patterns of light and shade on the pale travertine. The three air-conditioned bedrooms, all with ocean views, en-suite bathrooms and terrace access, sleep six, one of them in a separate bungalow. In the evening, carefully designed lighting sculpts the spaces; restaurants can be reached on foot.
