Villa Essenia

Spacious and modern, Villa Essenia overlooks the lagoon of Grand Cul-de-Sac, whose waters shift from translucent to turquoise. The living room's many openings let in light and the trade winds; a sofa, natural fibres and pale wood create a warm décor, and the kitchen, with a central island and a range cooker, shares the same space. Beneath the covered part of the terrace, a raw-wood table for ten sits beside an outdoor lounge with a corner sofa; a few steps further, the heated pool is lined with loungers, next to a barbecue. The four air-conditioned bedrooms, with en-suite bathrooms, sleep eight: three in the main building, the fourth forming an independent suite in a bungalow above the villa, with a kitchenette, sitting room, dining corner and private terrace facing the lagoon. The beach and restaurants are close by.
