Villa Aum

Within the private estate of Montjean, the contemporary Villa Aum takes in the bay of Marigot and the sunrise over the ocean. The air-conditioned living room can open fully to let the breeze in; a few works of art lend it a hushed atmosphere, alongside a dining room for ten and, a few steps up, a kitchen in wood and stainless steel. Outside, a pergola shelters a table for twelve facing the view, a lawn holds the loungers and an outdoor lounge extends the terrace around the heated pool. The five air-conditioned bedrooms, spread between the main house and two pavilions, have king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms; one opens onto a tropical garden. On the lower level, a fitness room looks out to the ocean. Lorient, with its beach and shops, is close by.
