Villa Vague Bleue

On the heights of Lurin, a few minutes from the beach and shops, the colonial-style Villa Vague Bleue gazes at the ocean at sunset and, as night falls, at the lights of Gustavia. Its hushed living room brings together two purple sofas and armchairs, amid photographs and touches of contemporary art; the kitchen is arranged around a bar, with a wine cellar, and the openings onto the garden and terrace let the trade winds flow through. At the front, the covered terrace holds a table for six facing the view, loungers and a lounge, amid lush tropical vegetation; at the back, a second table sits beside the barbecue, with a heated Jacuzzi and an outdoor shower. The three air-conditioned bedrooms, with king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms, sleep six and look out over the ocean or the palm-planted garden; two of them are linked by a spiral staircase.
